300 grams tofu
200 grams ground chicken
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon instant dashi powder
3 tablespoons potato starch
8 leaves lettuce
1 tablespoon potato starch
Minced ginger
Soy sauce


  1. Wash lettuce and drain any excess wetness
  2. Put Tofu in microwave and heat for 2 mins
  3. In a bowl combine the drained tofu, ground chicken, sesame oil, ginger, dash, and potato starch then mix well with a spoon
  4. Mix 1 tablespoon potato starch with the shredded lettuce and mix to distribute evenly
  5. Place chicken into the center and mold into a ball
  6. Arrange lettuce balls onto a square pan and cover with plastic wrap. Microwave for 6 mins
  7. Top with minced ginger and serve with soy sauce and vinegar mixture
